Entry into the school disciplinary records for Nykira: Nykira is new to our school and is trying to find where she fits in, but is choosing a very unconventional method for doing so. She comes to school with gauges in her ears, piercings in her lips, chest and tongue, tattoos- you name it, she seems to have it all and all of it violates school dress code. It doesn't help that she is wearing a uniform that is far to small for her and her bra is exposed as well as half of her bottom. She flirts with all of the boys. The girls took one look at her and I could see them writing her off immediately. Her behavior is atrocious! She openly and unabashedly flirts with the boys, telling some how her tongue piercing could "make them feel good". These behaviors are disruptive to the learning environment, offensive to myself and some of the students. This will not be tolerated. She has transferred in from public school and truly needs to learn to conform to our rules or suffer the consequences. It's hard coming to a new school at this age. I've tried to keep this in mind while giving Nykira several opportunities to correct her terrible behaviors and dress code violations. Last week, I gave Nykira three warnings, privately, after class. Nykira's behavior has not changed and I told her with the last warning that she would be spanked in front of the class if she did not change her ways. Today, she arrived late and wearing the same tiny uniform, has the same snarky attitude and is going to receive a hand spanking with the strap. I will ask the girls to leave the room and punish her only in front of the boys. Perhaps, this will change her attitude. Ms. Kimi Disciplinarian
